Sleepy Newborn {Redlands Newborn Photographer}

This little man belongs to a beautiful family I photographed a few years ago, not long after their oldest was born. Now she is an older sister and it’s truly heart-warming to watch this family grow.

He was around 14 days old at the time these photos were taken, but he was such a sleepy baby it was no trouble taking these gorgeous photos of him. Apparently the day before he had been very unsettled and hardly slept at all, so I was extremely lucky picking the right day!

Can you see his little mohawk in the second photo? How adorable is that?!

This time I travelled to my clients house, as I had been there before and I knew they had some stunning wall to floor windows, meaning I had plenty of light to work with. One of the biggest struggles of location work is finding enough light or the right kind of light, particularly when working indoors.

I have so many photos I’d like to post from this shoot, but I’m just going to start with the newborn ones for now… watch this space for more of this loving family.
